Z200 Exhaust System Modification

By skunk2

The following are the step-by-step procedure of exhaust system modification for MotorStar Xplorer Z200:

1.Remove the entire exhaust system

2.Cut the original pipe end to get the cylinder head fittings and stopper.
After cutting, you will notice that there is another pipe with a smaller diameter approximately 1.5 inches (I think this causes our z2 to become “sakal”. This pipe is all throughout to the main muffler which makes the sound to become like pump boat).

3.Remove all the rivets.

4.Remove first the tail pipe cover.

9.Get the original pipe and make a duplicate of a new pipe using bender. In my case, I use a 2 inches diameter stainless steel pipe.

16.Buff all the entire exhaust system.

17.You have now an all-stainless steel exhaust system with very big and deep sound! Plus an extra horsepower for easy acceleration!

  1. May I please inquire how does this kind of pipe sound? Managed to see some rust under my pipe and wanted to change it. Will it sound like a sport bike? Unlike a Harley, I wanted to get a Sport Bike Sound for my Z250 pipes. Thank you.
