The following are the step-by-step procedure of exhaust system modification for MotorStar Xplorer Z200:
.Remove the entire exhaust system
.Cut the original pipe end to get the cylinder head fittings and stopper.
After cutting, you will notice that there is another pipe with a smaller diameter approximately 1.5 inches (I think this causes our z2 to become “sakal”. This pipe is all throughout to the main muffler which makes the sound to become like pump boat).
.Remove all the rivets.
.Remove first the tail pipe cover.
.Remove the other end cover of the muffler.
.Clamp the main muffler to vise grip. (gato)
.Remove the internal silencer by pushing it using rubber mallet and wooden spacer.
.Cut the main pipe and remove the back cover of muffler.
.Get the original pipe and make a duplicate of a new pipe using bender. In my case, I use a 2 inches diameter stainless steel pipe.
.Remove all the brackets and nuts on the original pipe.
.Return the back cover of the muffler and secure it by rivets
.Put the new silencer together with the fiberglass
.Return the tail pipe cover. In my case, I replaced the tail pipe to 3 inches diameter.
.Make a pre trial installation and put some spot weld.
.Remove the entire muffler and make a full welding process.
.Buff all the entire exhaust system.
.You have now an all-stainless steel exhaust system with very big and deep sound! Plus an extra horsepower for easy acceleration!
