  1. I’ve had one for about 6 months and have taken it to 150mph, with more engine to spare, dont have a suit so havent pegged it yet, but you can get it going quickly and it’ll hold the speed in the turns, unlike larger bikes.

  3. I have an ’06, which is pretty much the same bike. I’ve had it up to 140mph at about 10krpm, redline is 14,500 so it will give you what you need. Its also very stable at high speeds.

  4. THIS IS A GREAT BIKE. just got a 2008 zzr600. i’ve goten to 160mph in 5th gear and was still climbing. the only reason i stop was because i got nervous lol. the bike handles it well i no shakes or wobbles. i love this bike

    ps the zx6r has more hp than the zzr id say about 30 more

  5. 167mph full twist it wouldn’t go any faster im gonna jet it and redo my exhaust handles great, lays turns beautifully , love my bike 2008 zzr600 160000 miles

  6. well i have a zx6r 2001 is about the same. 175 mph it was all i can get from it but is more motorcycle that many other new sports bikes

  7. Hi, does anybody know if any ZZR600’s were produced in 2009. I love the bike and would like to buy one but can’t find any for sale any where… Some site’s say they pulled the plug on production – is this true? Any news greatly appreciated.

  8. I have an old R plate, it still looks great and runs like new, handling is brilliant I love it, must admit only done 120 on it but chickened out at that lol, ran out of road….would recomend zzr600 to antone ant age they are a fab bike, buy one have fun….
