i expirienced a problem with the latest edition of this suzuki raider 150. i was still in the 255 klmtrs kilometerage when it just stop. no matter how i tried to revived it, it never starts. i have to haul it in a passenger jeepney and put it where i purchased it. the mechanic told me there was a problem with the fuel pump valve. it was closed and fuel cant move freely. what he did was to pump air in a hose located near the gasoline tank. it worked. but then i develop a phobia riding this bike on a long journey. i sent a letter complaint to suzuki philippines head office but after more than a month, i have yet to receive their comment on my letter because a pleaded to them to replace the unit i bought. i wonder if they really have a QUALITY AFTER SALES SERVICE to us customers. just last week, i gathered information that another brand new suzuki with the same model develop the same problem. i think there should be a product recall on this model already.

i have also a suzuki raider r150 new breed.. it has a mileage of 3000 plus,, still new, i have for almost two months. one day while i was riding it,, it just suddenly stopped. i checked on the gasoline tank, but it still have some gasoline, the i checked the spark plug, but it is still working. i have no idea why it doesn’t start. they i decided to kick start the motorcycle,, unfortunately, it also didn’t work. and i found out while i was kicking it, it has no compression, then i thought that the engine valves are the problem. i decided not to take it to my mechanic because it still have a year warranty. then the next day, i rented a minicab to haul my motorcycle to the dealer where i bought it. and they said that they will just have to open it and repair it. i said no. it is a defective one. i demanded that they have to change the unit. A PIECE OF ADVICE, if you have a brand new unit, don’t let them just repair it. it has a warranty, let them change it if it has a real serious problem, and if still covered with the suzuki one year warranty, don’t let it be rapaired by your mechanics, bring it to where you bought it. because WARRANTY VOIDS, IF SEAL IS BROKEN.. but i still love suzuki raiders.. i
then ? they replace it?
pre, modify mo na lang yan raider mo para masaya… heheheh bore up mo76mm din stroke mo ng 5mm. bili ka ng cams, big valves mo, then jetting mo mga 115,.,.. hehehehh ayos yan pre… like my raider.. top speed at 180kph at 400 meters. ( quarter mile )

Bumili ka na ng big bike, sa presyo na gagastusin mo konti nalang dagdag mo maraming pasok na 400cc na bikes na mas reliable pa. Itabi mo man ang nakaset-up na raider sa stock na big bike walang chicks na pipiliin ang raider. Yung lang pag me papalitan sa big bike dolyares din ang presyo ng spare parts!

bos ive experienced a problem with my 08 model pero hindi sa fuel pump dun sa shifter return spring kaso di ko na binalik sa suzuki but sabi mekanik ko imposible daw maputol yung spring bk daw nakalusot sa quality control at b4 p kinabit may lamat na. buti di kinaini ng gearing yung naputol kundi patay na si pogi ko.

bos siguro by this time nakabii ka na ng mot mot mo, but for info lang b4 ka bili ng motmot center stand mo then rock the handlebar from side to side pag may kanal either hindi namaintain ng ayos or involve na sa semplang. check mo allign ng front shocks kung pantay pa. Then tignan mu chassis no. at engine no. kung nagrinder it means tampered or nakaw yan, Tignan mu din makina for any oil leaks or cracks sa housing, even try to look for excessive use ng sealant or gasket maker para sa singaw kasi pag ganun walwal na makina. If you really love the bike you are checking ask the owner to remove all the flairings and tell him kung magustuhan mo bibilin mo na, pero kung hindi ok libre mo na lang merienda para sa effort nya ng pagkalas. Lastly pakinggan mo tunog ng engine kasi normal na maingay ang makna ng raider pero hindi to the point na parang may maracas sa loob ha. good luck sa pagbili ng raider . vrooom vroom.

tira ka pangbili ng good helmet kasi yun ang pinakaimportant sa lahat.
I bought my three-year old Raider 150 (2006 model) last July 2009 from a friend and it has not given me any worry so far although fuel consumption is a bit on the upside compared to contemporaries from Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki. Speed? this sets the Raider high above most models within its category. If i elect to buy another motorbike it ‘s got to be the latest model of Raider 150!

Subukan nyo magpatakbo at magmaintain ng 750cc na VFR tapos sabihin nyong magastos ang raider! Dyus ko pag dating ng panahon na magpapalit ka ng 2 gulong e nakabili ka ng ng scooter sa presyo na gagastusin mo!

mas kampante aq sa 2007 model na raider q.. stock to stock, iniiwan ang 2010 model… and walang naging prob nung pagka purchase q.. 2 yrs and two months n kmi ng baby ko pro d parin kumukupas….. just taking advices from my trusted mechanic. 7 seconds po ang 1st 100 kph ang kaya ng 07 model ko…. and mga sir…. kung sa performance, dun aq sa pnaka unang labas na raider n wlang elect.starter… peace po tau. suzuki r150 user and addict din po aq.. ride safe po

Never encounter any problem with my 2006 and 2009 Raider. I love the performance and design of the bike. Halos lahat kaming magbabarkada ay walang ganyang mga problema… Ang masakit lang kapag nataon ka sa may factory depekto na motor, kahit na anong angal ang gawin natin di nila papalitan ng bago kundi aayusin lang nila. 1 year warranty parts and labor hindi 1 year warranty na papalitan ang motor pag nasira… Buti na lang dipa namin naranasan naranasan ninyo at sana hindi na natin maranasan lahat para happy tau sa mga motor na binibili natin…

i also have my raider 150 2004 model still in good running condition at its mileage of 78,600,everything is stock but believe it or not it can top its speed at 137kph in just 450m…two thumbs up for raider talaga….
